Nice little family owned beer, wine, liquor convenience store. Owners are super nice. They also have a pretty thoughtful selection of wines

We moved to San Francisco a few weeks ago and this cafe is the closest to our apartment. It's great for a quick bite to eat or a cup of coffee. The owner and his family, who help run the cafe, are very nice and engage you in conversation every time your in there. And if there is a Giants game on, it is playing in the shop. They are big baseball fans, almost every time I go in there I have had a conversation about baseball with the owner. They aren't just a cafe either, think of it as a what ever you need convenience store. Good people, good food, good coffee.

Selection is fine, and the folks who run the cafe were very friendly when I shopped here (twice). I also wouldn't mind the higher prices, they are typical for a convenience store in this area. What is not okay, however, is that at each visit, I was charged 25% more than the price tag on the item stated. That's quite a sales tax rate. I was not given (or offered) a receipt, forgot to ask for one, and only noticed the discrepancy later. Perhaps it was an error both times; I will give them another try, and update accordingly.
